Spacious room, excellent food, with a large, clean space perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring, and the restaurant's menu was so delightful that we dined there each night of our two-night stay.
Entirely satisfied.

Solo travelers should avoid for sleep
The food was good at least, had dinner here staff were friendly it was a crazy night with music blasting from the bar. My room had these homemade muffins waiting which was nice touch, reminded me of mom's cooking.
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive but it was bearable.

Request a room at the back if possible to minimize noise from the bar area.

Charming Stay with Minor Hiccups
I enjoyed my two-night stay in a Standard Double Room, although the bathroom lighting could use an upgrade. The dining experience was delightful. the food looked appealing, especially the dishes served to other guests. Just be cautious with the 'Sun Hanging Skewers'. better options are available. Perfect for a tranquil getaway!

The atmosphere at The Sun Inn felt warm and welcoming, with beautifully decorated areas that made me feel quite at home. The friendly staff were always there to lend a helping hand, which made everything so much easier.
More accessibility features for seniors would be helpful.

The location of The Sun Inn was perfect for our birthday celebration. The breakfast stood out, with a great variety and a friendly server providing attentive service. the room was disappointing. The mattress was incredibly uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep well. There were several maintenance issues, like the paintwork needing a refresh and the flimsy door not providing a sense of security. the noise from the music was overwhelming, especially during the night, making it hard to relax. the combination of good breakfast and location doesn't outweigh the room's discomfort and noise issues.

The bar area boasts a nice selection of local ales, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventures. The layout of the common spaces creates a welcoming environment for socializing with fellow guests.
The room showed signs of wear, with stains on the wall and a somewhat uncomfortable mattress that made it hard to get a good night’s sleep. the draft from a rotted window and the constant cooing of pigeons made it less than ideal for relaxation. As for breakfast, the limited serving hours left little flexibility, and I found the options underwhelming for the price paid, especially since the room was above a noisy cellar cooler. The overall need for refurbishment was evident, which can impact your comfort level—as a personal preference, I appreciate a space that's more polished.
